We know that plans can change, pups can be unpredictable, and sometimes the unexpected pops up. That’s why we’ve designed our Cancellation & Refund Policy to be as fair and flexible as possible—for both Guests and Hosts. Whether you're adjusting a booking or need to cancel, we’ve got clear guidelines to help keep things simple, respectful, and community-minded.
Guest Cancellation Policy
- Full Refund: Guests may cancel a confirmed booking up to two (2) hours before the start time and receive a full refund.
- Late Cancellations: Cancellations made within two (2) hours of the start time are non-refundable.
Guest Booking Modifications
Need to adjust your plans? You can easily reschedule your booking for a different date or time. However, to change the duration of your visit or the number of dogs, you must follow these steps:
- Cancel your existing booking (at least two hours prior to start).
- Re-book with your updated duration or pack size. This process ensures our system correctly calculates your payment and secures your new slot immediately.
Host Cancellation Policy
To maintain trust and reliability, Hosts are expected to honour all confirmed bookings. However, we understand that emergencies happen.
- Automatic Guest Refund: If a Host cancels a booking at any time, the Guest will automatically receive a full refund, regardless of how close it is to the start time.
- Host Standards: Frequent cancellations violate our Host Standards and may result in removal from the platform.
- Safety First: If a Host cancels due to a legitimate safety concern (e.g., hazardous weather or property damage), it will not count against their performance rating. We support responsible decisions that prioritize the well-being of our community.
Processing Your Refund
K9 Off-Leash Network initiates all eligible refunds automatically within 24 hours of the cancellation.
Note: While our system releases the funds immediately, standard banking procedures typically take 5–10 business days to reflect the credit on your statement. This timeframe is determined by your financial institution, not our platform.
