Why Safety Rules Matter

Clear rules protect your property, your peace of mind, and the well-being of the dogs visiting your space. When Guests follow these guidelines, it minimizes the risk of incidents, ensures your land remains pristine, and helps you maintain a high hosting status within the network.

Community Safety Rules

Every Guest agrees to these core principles when booking a spot:

• Authorized Guests Only: The spot is limited strictly to the individuals and dogs included in the official booking.
• Leash Protocol: Dogs are required to be leashed when entering and exiting the property to ensure safety in transition areas.
• Safety First: Guests must confirm the area is secure and safe before allowing their dog to go off-leash inside.
• Punctuality: Entry and exit should occur only within the reserved time slot to maintain the schedule.
• Leave No Trace: Guests must ensure the area is left clean, including the mandatory removal of all dog waste.
• Spot-Specific Rules: All unique rules you have set for your specific property must be strictly followed.
• Facility Awareness: Restrooms may not be available unless you have specifically noted them in your listing.
• Zero Tolerance for Aggression: To ensure a safe environment, we kindly ask that guests do not bring dogs with a known history of aggression.
• Continuous Supervision: For the safety of all pets and property, dogs must be supervised by their owner at all times during the visit.
• Policy Review: All Guests are encouraged to regularly review the Off-Leash Network’s full booking policies.

Smart Booking Policies

Our platform is designed to automate safety so you don't have to worry about the "what-ifs."

• Exclusive Access: Only one booking is permitted at each location at a time.
• The 30-Minute Buffer: A mandatory 30-minute buffer is maintained between every booking. This prevents dogs from different reservations from interacting and gives you a window for a quick property check if needed.
• Secure Instructions: Your specific access instructions are only provided to the Guest immediately after a booking is successfully completed.
• Flexible Scheduling: To accommodate life’s changes, bookings may be rescheduled or cancelled up to two hours before the scheduled start time.

Host Pro-Tip: The "Welcome Walk"

While the platform provides instructions automatically, we recommend placing a small, weather-proof sign at your entry point reminding guests of your top three "Spot-Specific" rules (e.g., "Please keep dogs away from the flower beds"). This visual cue reinforces the digital rules they read during the booking process!
