Navigating Life Changes: Pausing or Deleting Your Park

We understand that life’s direction can change, and your availability for hosting may shift along with it. Whether you need a temporary break to focus on other priorities or have decided to close your hosting chapter permanently, we offer both Pause and Delete options to help you manage your listing with ease.

Taking a Break: Pausing Your Account

If you aren't ready to say goodbye but need to step away for a while, pausing is the perfect solution. Deactivation is temporary and allows you to step back without losing your hard work.

What Happens When You Pause:
- Your profile and park listings will be hidden from the public.
- You will no longer appear in search results or receive new booking requests.
The Benefits:
- Your data, reviews, and listing details are preserved.
- You can reactivate your account at any time simply by logging back in.
How to Do It: Look for the Pause Park button on your listing card or select Pause Account within your account settings.

Moving On: Deleting Your Account

If you have decided to stop hosting permanently, you may choose to delete your account. Please consider this carefully, as the process is final.

What Happens When You Delete:
- Your profile, listings, bookings, and reviews will be permanently removed.
- All associated data from the Off-Leash Network will be erased.
Important Warning: This action is irreversible. Once confirmed, you cannot recover your account or its history.
How to Do It: Navigate to the "Delete my account" section in your settings and click the Delete Account button.

Pro Tip: Pause Before You Delete Before you choose to permanently delete your account, consider using the "Pause" feature instead. Pausing allows you to hide your listing from search results and stop receiving new requests while keeping all your hard-earned reviews, photos, and listing details intact. Deletion is permanent and removes all your history; pausing gives you the flexibility to return whenever you’re ready without starting from scratch!
