As a host, that first visit is the start of a great relationship! To help things go smoothly, the K9 Off-Leash Network allows you to set up Automated Welcome and Thank You messages.
These short notes provide a little extra "hand-holding" to ensure guests feel confident and safe on your land.
Automated Timing
- The Welcome Message: Sent 2 hours before their visit (or immediately if they book last-minute).
- The Thank You Message: Sent 1 hour after their visit ends.
Character Limit & Tips
Each automated message is limited to 250 characters. Because space is tight, keep your notes warm but focused on the essentials.
What to include in your 250 characters:
- A friendly "Happy Sniffing!" welcome.
- Key parking or gate instructions.
- A quick reminder to keep dogs leashed until inside the secure area.
- A reminder to "scoop the poop" and leave the spot as found.
Examples of Short Auto-Messages
Welcome Template:
"Welcome! We’re so glad you’re here. Please park by the red barn and keep pups leashed until you’re inside the gate. Ensure the area is clear before entering. Have a paws-itive visit! Questions? Just message me."
Thank You Template:
"Thanks for visiting! We hope your pup had a blast. Please remember to pack out any waste. We’d love to host you again—feel free to leave us a review! ?"
