We welcome a wide range of off-leash spaces — from cozy backyards and private training studios to open fields and forested trails. Whether indoors or outdoors, what matters most is that dogs can play freely and safely. To ensure a positive experience for all, Hosts must meet the following criteria:
Space Requirements
To list your space, it must:
- Be private — you must either own the space or have full control over who uses it.
- Be accessible without entering your private residence.
- Be free from hazards, including:
- Toxic plants harmful to dogs
- Unfenced or poorly fenced areas near roads with speed limits over 35 mph (if under 5 acres)
- Unfenced or partially fenced spaces smaller than 0.5 acres (~20,000 sq ft)
- Live electric fences under 5 feet or not safely separated
- Use of electronic collars or invisible fences as containment
- Empty or soft-covered swimming pools
- Known resident wildlife that poses a serious threat to dogs (e.g., alligators, rattlesnakes, bears)
- Sharp objects, exposed wiring, chemicals, or other obvious safety risks
Animal- and People-Free Access
During visits, the space and any accessible adjoining areas must be:
- Free of dogs, domestic animals, and people
- Your own dogs must be kept indoors or in a separate area unless pre-arranged with the Guest
- Livestock, chickens, or other animals must not be in the spot
- Fencing must prevent contact between dogs (e.g., no gaps or pickets dogs can reach through)
- If the space isn’t fully fenced, nearby areas must not attract dogs to wander or interact with others
Host-Guest Interaction
- If you meet a first-time Guest, please arrange this in advance
- Do not enter the space once the Guest has arrived — instead, message them to coordinate
- This helps ensure safety for dogs that may be fearful of strangers
Prohibited Conduct & Content
We do not allow:
- Listings that promote anything illegal, unsafe, unethical, or offensive
- Hosts with convictions or active investigations for:
- Violent crimes, sexual offenses, animal cruelty, or serious felonies
- Anyone listed on a sex offender registry
- Listings located in countries subject to international restrictions.
Listing Essentials
To publish your listing, you’ll need to provide:
- Your first and last name
- A valid email address
- The exact address of the space
- Photos of the actual space (not stock images)
You’ll also be asked to indicate whether your space is fully fenced, partially fenced, or unfenced.
All content must be respectful and lawful. Any content that is threatening, explicit, defamatory, or violates privacy or legal rights will be removed — and may result in account removal.
